SETT CE THE BANK OF 95% RECYCLED MATERIAL A timeless design Gispen SETT is a distinctive designer sofa with exceptionally high seating comfort. Designer Peter van de Water sought and found a unique balance between simplicity and comfort. The sleek appearance and remarkable details make this sofa a timeless model. In addition to the original SETT sofa, Gispen has created an optimally circular variant: SETT CE. This bench is made from no less than 95% recycled materials. For example, we transformed plastic waste into the body of the sofa via 3D printer. The foam in the seat and backrest, the polyester lining and the upholstery are also made from recycled materials. Moreover, all the materials that make up the sofa are separable from each other; each part can be cleverly reused again, by processing it into a new product. These innovative sustainable developments have won two awards; the Dutch Design Award and the award for Good Industrial Design.
