Beautiful statue on marble base by the famous Dutch artist Ger van Tankeren. The sculpture is (including marble pedestal) 18 cm high. The statue is in new condition and comes with CV and motivation from Ger van Tankeren. The statue is made of a tin alloy and then bronzed. GER VAN TANKEREN (1937) is self-taught. When the demand for his synthetic resin sculptures began to decline, he switched to casting sculptures in a tin alloy, which he then bronzed. Ger is known for his versatility and eye for detail. He made images from very realistic things to artistic and religious scenes. Ger remained active until he was 82 making various models, which are not only suitable for the living room, but can also serve as a promotional gift and come into their own in the office
