Product description
For sale is a completely restored Georg Satink desk from WK Möbel in mint condition! Object: Desk from the 1950s Description: Body made of solid blockboard veneered with teak; 5 fully extendable drawers, the middle one lockable; solid, detachable, tapered table legs, spray-painted black; high-quality glides with cushioning rubber inserts Manufacturer: WK Furniture, Germany Designers: Georg Satink, Germany Material: Teak / linoleum (traditional laminate based on natural linseed oil) Hue: deep black / natural teak (dark brown with a beautiful reddish tint and natural color nuances) Important! The photos are highly exposed so that the 1a condition can also be seen in detail! This makes reddish tints redder and colors generally lighter. The shaded areas or areas not directly illuminated by the photo light best reflect the color tones in real life. Dimensions: W: 125.5cm; D: 68cm; H: 78cm . Condition: Again, we have achieved a result that can hardly be surpassed! The table is in outstanding condition. It has very little, if any, signs of wear. You will look in vain for the usual quirks and scratches. Also the table legs, everything like new. Simply unique! It should be noted that no cheap amateur painting work with a brush or roller and hardware store materials was carried out here, but a complex professional spray painting with traditional materials as they were used in the 60s and 70s. In this way, a silky, shiny surface is obtained, where the grain is clearly recognizable and also remains "tangible" with a pleasant feel. About the paintwork... Please keep in mind that sophistry from other vendors such as "repainted" is in no way synonymous with "spray painted". This usually means that typical "pasting" with a brush and roller and the associated unsightly properties such as clearly visible brush strokes and the well-known "orange skin". You can see this immediately when you look at the furniture surfaces from the side against the light. If in doubt, ask relevant questions regarding the type of painting or, even better, have backlit photos of the "newly painted" surfaces sent to you.
