The 686 is a sleek table with a top that has a characteristic chrome edge with beautifully rounded corners. The top of the table top is made of HPL, short for High Pressure Laminate, which is a very strong material. HPL is resistant to scratches and higher temperatures, the surface is also smooth and non-porous, making it hygienic and easy to keep clean.
Table 686 was designed by the design team of Gebroeders van der Stroom for the Dutch Originals brand and is part of the Gispen Today collection. Gebroeders van der Stroom has created several designs for Dutch Originals that are a nice addition to the rich collection of Gispen Classics and can therefore be easily combined with these design classics.
Material top: high-pressure laminate (HPL) with chrome edge
Leg material: high-gloss chrome. A major advantage of this table is that chairs with armrests can also be slid under the table. New price: 1375 EURO.
The table looks beautiful and can take a beating. Light scratches and a very small dent are visible in the chrome edge (see last photo) for the observant viewer.
