Surf bench by Roberto Lazzeroni for Frighetto 1998.
Two-seater (2½) made of aluminum, Zebrano plywood and red leather.
Born in Pisa in 1950, Roberto Lazzeroni attended art and architecture school in Florence, where he developed a strong interest in conceptual art and Radical Design. He debuted as a designer in the early 1980s. He worked for several outstanding Italian furniture companies such as Acerbis, Baxter, Ceccotti, Ciatti, Confalonieri, Driade, Frighetto, Garganti, Gervasoni, Giorgetti, Gufram, Lema, Levante, Luminara, Moroso, Rapsel and Visionnaire. His work has received awards, including several editions of the Wallpaper Design Awards and the ADA Archiproducts Design Awards.
The last photos (from the 1998 brochure) show the Surfing sofa (three-seater) in white leather.
