This unique hanging lamp from Foscarini is the Plass Media lamp. The stately hanging lamp owes its name to the fusion of glass and plastic. This is linked to the traditional glass blowing technique that is applied with a modern material; polycarbonate. Polycarbonate has the property that it is 250 times stronger than glass.
The lamp is very recognizable by its elegant stripe in the material. There are also small bubbles in the polycarbonate, which provides nice details.
