Sleek coffee table made of solid ash. The table top measures 120 x 54 cm, the height of the table top is 42 cm. The base is made of beams of 30 x 30 mm. This table was completely handmade, starting from raw wooden beams.
The hardness and durability of ash is similar to oak, but it is whiter in color. The wood of the table top is flat sawn, so that many flames are visible. This contrasts nicely with the sleek design. The wood is finished with white hardwax oil from Osmo. Own design and handmade in Ghent (Belgium).
About the designer: I, Flor Janssens, have been working for 20 years as a jewelery designer for international fashion houses such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Raf Simons, Maison Martin Margiela,... I am also a furniture maker. I release my furniture under the name 'Flor'.
