This beautiful floor lamp with aluminum (look) tulip base is a rare specimen. Acquired from the 1st owner, who took good care of it since the 70's! The design is clearly from the "Space Age", a period characterized by clean lines, organic shapes and the use of new materials such as aluminum. The "UFO" shape of the shade - made of milk glass - is of course totally in keeping with this space age and also provides beautiful, soft light.
The lamp is still in good vintage condition, with of course some signs of use such as scratches on the leg and is fitted with an E27 socket.
