Very rare West Germany fat lava vase by Walter Gerhards, marked Foreign at the bottom and numbered 270/20.
Very hard to find vase in this color combination, a must have for any serious collector of West Germany ceramics!
West Germany was actually a collective name for ceramics that came on the market roughly between 1950 and 1990. Some famous names include Roth, Carstens, Ruscha, Jopeko, Jasba, Fohr, but perhaps the biggest were Scheurich and Bay.
