Vintage fat lava lamp, made from orange and beige to brown earthenware, by Dumler & Breiden, West Germany, 1960s.
The West Germany vases are common, you will find them in different colors and sizes, rarer and more difficult to find are these beautiful lamps, just like some vases, they are highly sought after by collectors, a true collector's item!
West Germany was actually a collective name for ceramics that came onto the market roughly between 1950 and 1990. Some well-known names are Roth, Carstens, Ruscha, Jopeko, Jasba, Fohr, but the greatest were perhaps Scheurich and Bay.
In perfect condition, no cracks, chips or breaks, new wiring, check the photos for more details!
