Vitra-produced Eames Ottoman, with Herman Miller label (matches European Vitra Lounge chairs!)
Unique opportunity if you have an orignal Herman Miller or Vitra lounge chair (model EA670), but no matching ottoman (model EA671).
This is a 1970s produced ottoman in Brazilian Rosewood and black leather. The most iconic color variant sold. The ottoman is all original and recently refinished, treated and the cushion padded by Modern Design in Dronten. The leather is still good and with a nice patina.
Vitra produced for several years under the Herman Miller name in the early 1970s. So it has the characteristics of a Vitra model (you can see by the legs), but with a Herman Miller sticker. So fits both variants well, but especially the European model from Vitra.
Comes from an inheritance where I got two ottomans with one lounge chair, never could figure out why. But so happy to make someone happy with this opportunity to complete his/her set!
The frame under the ottoman is slightly twisted, but you can hardly see this and the seat is completely straight. Also, a seam in the bottom shell is loose. You don't see this, but should mention it. Still in good condition after 50 years of use.
