Product description
Charles and Ray Eames designed and developed this chair in 1958 for the private home of an art collector in Columbus, Indiana (USA).
For its construction, the designer couple departed from the principle of the seat shell, rather than a panel of fabric or leather stretched between two aluminum profiles for a sturdy,
but elastic seat.
The chair adapts to the body and is extremely comfortable, even without inner padding.
This is a very early edition. The manufacturer is probably Herman Miller, as Vitra started producing later.
The chair is in vintage condition and has signs of use to its age.
In nice Vintage condition with traces of use and age. Technically in good condition.
