Splendid cylindrical vase in blue glass with enamel decoration and gold highlights. On a deep blue background, a beautiful decoration of daffodils in very thick enamel, surrounded by small flowers and fine gold branches. The gold lace frieze on the rim, richly decorated with enamel beads, is very present. Perfectly executed with great finesse. Manufactured by François Théodore Legras - Montjoie, circa 1900. This vase is listed in green in Michel & Vitrat's "Legras" on page 265: "Vase cylindrical "Compiègne" Vase tube with dark green base, enameled with daffodils, screen-printed frieze and enameled with squares, dots and rocaille motifs. Excellent condition, no traces of wear on the decoration. Very few micro-scratches due to normal use on the glass. See photos. Height 24 cm, width 10 cm, weight 780 g. Reference : SCH.
