the cassina maralunga 3-seater sofa is a design by vico magistretti. It is said that one day, while playing with a cigarette packet, vico magistretti was thinking about what new sofa he would design. Opening and closing the packet gave him a unique idea: an adjustable backrest. Separately, each backrest could be "folded" into a 90-degree angle just like the cigarette packet. It became an extraordinary success and the sofa is still considered one of the most famous Italian designer sofas. Quality, design and comfort come together in the design of cassina, which patented the innovative mechanism for backrests. In addition, the included back cushions provide great support. The sofa has a width of 236 centimeters, a height - when unfolded - of 100 centimeters and a depth of 86 centimeters. The seat height is 45 centimeters. The sofa has a light gray steel frame with a core consisting of a blend of CFC-free polyurethane foam and polyester.
