The work Butterfly migration by Bethany de Forest is a beautiful intensely colored work of plexiglass on aluminum.
The special thing about Bethany's works is that they are made with so-called pinhole photography. This means that what can be seen on the work was photographed from an actual scenario built in a kind of viewing box, as can also be seen on an excerpt from the accompanying photo book (which can also be included in consultation).
This work is shown together with the work Horse Butterfly in one of the photos and also offered in another advertisement, purchased on December 11, 2018.
The work is number 11 of a series of 11, which means the work is therefore no longer for sale new elsewhere.
The butterfly represents transformation.
The work is still in perfect condition as it has only been in use for a very short time and then went into storage fully wrapped.
