Product description
Bertrand Balas is a French architect and designer who began his professional life in 1962 as an independent contractor. In 1965, while traveling, he came into contact with the Raak company, which was very important for the development of his design skills. He began to sketch out a few projects. It was then that his "Here Comes the Sun" collection began to take shape. But Bertrand Balas was first and foremost an architect, and for years he devoted himself solely to his work as an architect, since he no longer had the freedom of mind to create spaces where he could lose himself, imagining shapes, volumes, colors and materials. It was only much later, when he retired, that Frédéric Winkler called him, interested in what was to become "Here Comes the Sun". From then on, his career as a designer of luminous objects took off again, much to his delight.
