Product description
by Atelier Biagetti
Brand new, selling because it didn’t fit into our concept like we visualized.
The work of architect and designer Alberto Biagetti (1971) and artist Laura Baldassari (1985) challenges the boundaries between disciplines. Biagetti and Baldassari draw their inspiration from the world around them, from human behaviour and contemporary society’s greatest obsessions.
They dissect and deconstruct the functionality of objects to then reconfigure codes that previously seemed permanently sedimented in society.
Their work aims to construct an immersive environment full of hints and clues in which the objects that inhabit the space become actors in a possible scene, questioning the space surrounding them and the habits related to it. The objects become devices that suggest new ways of interacting with both physical and psychological space; they trigger short-circuits and undermine the dynamics associated with the collective memory.
