Original Antique Thonet 'Kaminsessel nr 1'. The original rattan seat and back were professionally replaced with this beautiful blue-green fabric at the time. Very nice as a side chair. Marked. Stable frame in curved wood. The design of the chair dates back to 1863. The chair can be found in the 1886 Thonet catalog, among others. The MOMA in New York has a similar chair in its collection, as well as the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. Seat height: 42cm. Width: 46cm. Height: 89cm. Depth: 75cm. Weight: 5kg.
