Item number: 01405 This large display case was made in Surabaya, Indonesia. Until the late 1940s this was a colony of the Netherlands, so rather it comes from the Dutch East Indies. So it is a cabinet with a colonial past and a long history. Judging by the style, the round glass and the finishes, it was made in the first half of the last century. If you look further, you will see that it contains a label with a 4-digit phone number from which you can tell that it was made in the period from 1920s to 1930s. About 100 years old, in other words. The size of the furniture makes it look best in a spacious interior. Note: with this furniture, it is important that it is placed on a straight (level) floor. Dimensions: W 311 x H 119.5 x D 45.5 cm
