Alexander Vogels (*1952 Heerlen) spent his childhood in Australia, he traveled through the North African Tassili Mountains where he visited several Indian reservations, as he has an interest in primitive cultures.
His inspirations shape his work but his way of painting makes him captivating. The materialization of the intangible, the treatment of paint, the adventurous battle with color with which he effortlessly manages to evoke original and positive feelings. Dizzying abstraction, with expressionistic power.
Several exhibitions have been held including, Mallorca,Stockholm, Vienna Frankfurt Paris, and Maastricht.
