Adriaan/Adine Engelman (Rotterdam 1937 - Haarlem 2015)
Trained at the Academy of Visual Arts in Rotterdam and Atelier '63 in Haarlem. In 1969 Adriaan changed his name to Adine Engelman. In addition to being a painter, Engelman was also a sculptor of mainly abstract visual art. Engelman's work from the 1960s and 1970s shows affinities with work by Bram Bogart and Rob van Koningsbruggen.
