The glasses are in very good condition. The price is for 6 jars of SUPERFEST - DDR, 250ml. History: In 1977, a team led by the scientist DIETER PATZIG applied for a patent for the solidification of glass products by ion exchange. The glass brand resulting from the invention was called CEVERIT, composed of CE (chemical) + VER (solidified) + IT (usual ending for mineral substances). The aim was to achieve five times the service life of an ordinary drinking glass, but 15 times was achieved. Further advantages: - heat resistance - stackable - low weight Production, which began in the 1980s at VEB SACHSENGLAS SCHWEPNITZ - GDR, was initially limited to beer glasses. Later, other models were added and the name was changed to SUPERFEST. Production was discontinued in July 1990. The main customer was the GDR catering trade. The intended sale in the Federal Republic of Germany did not materialize.
