Victor Vasarely was a French-Hungarian painter, raised in Pecs Hungary. Studied Medicine in Budapest, but in the end he did nothing with it. He left the academy in '27 and exchanged it for traditional painting. He then followed further training and workshops. In '31 he settled in Paris and started working for advertising agencies until '44. In '44 he had his 1st exhibition and the rest is history...
