minimalist Dutch-Design , set of 2 armchairs 415 (later the 1401) and coffee table the "mug" 535 designed by Wim Rietveld in 1954 and 1953 for the company Gispen. Awarded the gold medal at the 10th Milan Triennial. We bought the set from the first owner, the upholstery and natural foam was completely decayed. This has been reupholstered with a fine green/gray rib fabric and fitted with new foam. The upholstery is removable/washable.The coffee table still has the original glass with 2 dots, created when hardening in the oven.Armchair: H68cm,D61cm,W63cm, seatH36 cm. Sheet steel , foam,fabric.armrests bakelite.
