A 19th century lamp base from France. The base is made of the beautiful ash wood. Below a column that with a round fluted leg extending upwards decorated with flowers and acanthus leaves. At the back the opening for put wire and above at the back a piece of leaf is missing. What also may with a foot of more than 100 years old. The electric and fitting is new. A shade you can choose yourself in what color and shape suits you. Height: 1.63 m. Foot: 20 x 20 cm.
As already indicated, there is a small stitch missing at the top of the lamp. This is on the back. The lamp is otherwise in good and working condition and it has been treated for woodworm.
