Zuccheri began his career as an apprentice at Venini at the age of 14 and quickly became an influential designer for the brand. He worked with artists such as Tobia Scarpa and Fulvio Bianconi to create unique, modern glass pieces, using advanced techniques such as acid etching, sandblasting and incision. During his career, Zuccheri also worked for other Italian design companies, including furniture company Arflex and porcelain brand Richard Ginori. He received numerous awards and distinctions for his work, including the prestigious Compasso d'Oro prize in 1955. Aldo Zuccheri remains an important figure in the history of Italian design, recognized for his technical innovations and creativity in the design of glass objects.
