He justified his desire and need to create furniture by saying that "old-fashioned or Scandinavian furniture was neither comfortable nor simple enough". Willy Rizzo was born in Naples in 1928. When he was just a child, he moved with his family to Paris. He quickly developed a passion for photography, perfecting his art over the years. He photographed the Nuremberg Trials, as well as major women's magazines such as Marie-Claire and Vogue. In 1968, the artist moved to Rome and decided to create various lines of furniture. He returned to France in the late 1970s to concentrate on photography, immortalizing the world's most beautiful women!
