However, it would be several years before Kofod-Larsen achieved the same success in Sweden. Kofod-Larsen was born in Denmark in 1921. He graduated from the prestigious Royal Danish Academy of Arts. He quickly developed a passion for designing furniture in rosewood. His visionary eye led him to the organic style. In 1958, during a visit to Denmark, Queen Elizabeth II fell under the spell of his creations and purchased several pieces of furniture. Today, Kofod-Larsen enfilades are particularly sought-after pieces.
