Over the following decades, Asti designed furniture, decorative objects and products for many prestigious Italian brands such as Knoll, Poltronova, Gabbianelli and Olivetti. He has also created graphic design projects, including posters for cultural events. Asti is known for his minimalist, elegant style and his use of simple geometric shapes and bright colors. Some of his most famous creations include the "Siesta" chair for Gabbianelli, the "Cobra" lamp for Martinelli Luce and the "Valentine" typewriter for Olivetti. Throughout his career, Asti received numerous awards and recognition for his work, including the prestigious Compasso d'Oro in 1956 and 1960. His work is included in the permanent collections of many museums, including MoMA in New York and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
