Product description
Superb brown parchment oval dining table designed by Aldo Tura in Milan, Italy, in the late 1960s. Characteristic of Aldo Tura's work, parchment is a dyed and lacquered goatskin which gives its nuances of color, here from glazed brown to dark brown, and this absolutely superb piqué. It has a large oval top resting on two cylindrical legs, also in parchment, finished with a brushed steel belt. The table measures 220 centimetres wide and also has a 220-centimetre extension in lacquered sapele, bringing the extended version to 280 centimetres. This table has been fully restored, relacquered, steel brushed and is in superb condition. A truly beautiful and timeless decorative piece, in the pure Mid-Century Italian glamour of the 60's and 70's.
