Vintage ceiling lamp by Herda. The shade is made of glass and features a special geometric relief. The glass is of high quality and has a special texture that diffuses the light in a beautiful way.
Herda was a family business / lighting factory founded by the Daniels brothers in 1946, with the main location in Amsterdam and a second branch in Tilburg. The company also had a depot in Borne (Schijndel NL) until 1981.
Herda was declared bankrupt on June 24, 1997.
Herda had collaborations with some top designers like Willem van Oyen (also heavily active for the Raak brand).
