Large, decorative / masonry / canning jars in antique green French glass, from the famous manufacturer L'Idéale. A charming, vintage, rustic touch. Ideal for many uses in any given space, whether in a kitchen or bathroom, as wall decoration, shelf or countertop, as a vase or for other storage purposes. Highlights: Authentic French vintage / Circa 1940's / Made of thick, green glass / Marked: L'Idéale on the front/ Cleaned to respect the patina of time/ Capacity: 1 liter (marked on the bottom.) Each jar weighs approximately 1 kilo (about 2 lbs.) The pieces are in overall good, original, vintage condition, with some light marks, signs of age and previous use consistent with the times, as well as the patina of time, on the glass and metal ball wires and tension clips, as would be expected for their age, as they were typically used in kitchens to store or can various products. No chips or cracks. (See photos). All photos were taken indoors in natural light, so colors may vary depending on lighting, angles and the perspective from which they are viewed.
