This rosewood coffee table was designed by Johannes Andersen for Le C.F.C. Silkeborg and manufactured in Denmark in the 1960s. model number 283. The unique construction techniques and quality materials showcase the designer's style. The beveled edges of the legs and table soften the feel of the piece and are the highlight of the design. The unique joining of the legs to the tabletop are also noteworthy. The rosewood emplyed on this example is outstanding and has some magnificent grain patterns.
