This beautiful board is said to have been made between 1950 and 1979.
With handmade pieces, carved dragons on the edges of the board and drawers where the pieces are stored when you are not using the game. The board is a case that you can transport by the brass handles.
The board is 46 cm square and 6.5 cm high.
The largest piece is a whopping 12.5 cm, the smallest almost 8.
Our son likes to play chess, which is why he gets a chess board for his birthday just about every year, but the collection is starting to get a little out of hand, hence a couple on sale.
Collection is preferable, in Den Bommel but also in Ridderkerk.
