Product description
This modernist folding rocking chair was designed in the 1950s by Japanese designer Takeshi Nii. The chair's construction reflects modern Danish design and its simplicity and functionality. The famous NY chair (the little brother of this model) was selected for MoMA's permanent collection in 1970.
The chair has brown skailed leather upholstery, armrests of black Bakelite and an aluminum frame on wooden skids. Very comfortable and stable in good condition. This folding model is easy to store and transport. This chair is in original vintage condition with the skai upholstery in very good condition. The wooden skids, armrests and aluminimum construction show some light wear to the material. Folding system is fully functional and easy to perform. Dimensions: W 59 cm, H 90cm, D 88 cm. Folded: W 14 cm.
