Swoon, Label Gerard and Ivo van den Berg The Swoon is a quirky bench conceived by Ivo & Gerard van den Berg.With its airy shape and the pointed corners of the cushions, the Swoon is reminiscent of a pillow. This is exactly what Ivo was inspired by, a lovely pillow for the whole body. The contrast between the sturdy wooden legs and the fluffy cushions makes the Swoon an inviting sofa to snuggle up in. Together with his father, Gerard van den Berg, Ivo developed the Swoon further. In Gerard's backyard, father and son worked out the drawings and Gerard taught Ivo how best to do this. Having a good idea is the beginning, developing it out follows. This requires knowledge and insight, and from whom could Ivo learn this better than from his father!
