Beautiful large screen print by Karel Appel from 1976, using silver foil. Concerns a rare E/A (épreuve d'artiste) edition, dedicated to Tony. The regular silkscreen also has a very limited edition of only 99 copies. The silkscreen measures 62.5 x 79 cm; includingijsf 82.5 x 103. Is still in the original frame, which is in need of replacement. The reverse shows that it was sold for 4,000 guilders. The white outer edge contains a very small crease and some light discoloration, as seen in the photos, although these could also be in the frame rather than the paper.
