Raoul Guys metal and wicker magazine rack, circa 1950. Raoul Guys was a Parisian decorator who produced a number of pieces of furniture typical of the 50s style. The structure of his quality furniture uses bent, lacquered metal rods with wicker trim. The legs are often pin-shaped and lacquered in black or color. Raoul Guys owned a Paris boutique called "la brouette", where he made his rattan furniture. Length: 43 cm. Height: 46 cm. Depth: 18 cm.
