The Plia folding chair by Giancarlo Piretti for Anomina Castelli is an Italian design classic from the 1960s. The model was introduced in 1967 at the Salone Di Mobile in Milan. The Plia is made of a combination of steel and plastic. The elegant design was given a place in the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. This version has a seat and back made of transparent acrylic glass and a black frame. The chair is in good condition, has light signs of use and a scratch on the backrest (see photos). The chair has a scratch in the backrest and otherwise very light signs of use. Light discoloration.
