"In 1960, the Philips Infraphil KL7500 heat lamp was introduced, a characteristic conical-shaped aluminum fixture equipped with a pressed-glass infrared lamp with an integrated Fresnel lens. The Philips Infraphil KL7500 heat lamp represented the basic design for the 1960s and 1970s. The total weight of the lamp and heavy duty fixture made of cast aluminum was over 1.5 kilograms. The lamp was secured with a clamping ring that fit into a groove on the front of the fixture. The Philips wordmark was integrated into the handle and a foil with the Philips logo was pasted on top of the fixture. Based on this successful model, several similar models would be introduced in the following decades."
"Around 1960, Philips introduced an entirely new type of Infraphil lamp with the type number 13379F/479. This lamp is made of pressed glass and therefore less fragile. In the front of the lamp a so-called Fresnel lens is pressed in which improves the bundling of radiation. The pressed glass lamps with type number 13379F/479 are, like their blown predecessors, fitted with a bayonet base and provided with the same printing as the blown lamps."
