The warmth splashes off the canvas, is written below about Brauck's work, and that is absolutely true! You can feel the French sun shining as it were. I have enjoyed this original painting for many years. Unfortunately, there is no more room for it due to a move. You can see from the pictures that there is a very small amount of damage at the tip of the frame and on the back. The painting was made with acrylic. About the artist: Willem Brauckmann (1946-2014) began his career in 1963 by studying at the Academy of Visual Arts in Rotterdam. An education which, as befits a good artist in the sixties, he did not finish. After many years active in the world of advertising and exhibitions, Brauck nevertheless felt more inclined to devote himself entirely to art. Inspiration: Brauck primarily paints landscapes. A predilection for the French countryside becomes apparent. The warmth splashes from the canvas and here, too, the graphic background is evident, given the tessellation and composition in the paintings. But not only landscapes are an inspiration, he also finds old "advertising" murals very fascinating. The older they get, the more beautiful they become, sometimes with 3 layers on top of each other and partly worn they form a beautiful painting.
The wooden frame has very light damage, basically treatable but I honestly hardly see it when the painting is hanging.
