A large ceramic bowl or wall decoration Mid - Century by Oswald Tieberghien of Eeklo, Belgium. The piece has a deep orange-red background with a central organic design in subtle tones of beige, brown and gray. The decoration is worked in hand-painted, layered glaze of different textures; probably a unique piece. The plate is a good size, with small feet that make it light both flat and wall mounted. The underside has wire for possible wall hanging and is stamped by the maker. Good original condition, larger chip to back of plate
