The Leolux Bascule dining table is a 1996 design by Hugo de Ruiter "Nothing is forever, but a friend for life my designs do try to be" is an important quote of his.
The understated character of the Bascule conceals an ingenious system that adjusts this table in size as desired. Below the handsome tabletop rests an additional leaf that can be ingeniously slid up and then connects perfectly flush with the extended tabletop.
