Superb large Chinese ginger jar, vase, pot or covered vase. Antique, 20th c. 1930-1950, Qing taste. Handcrafted. White porcelain, famille rose, hand-glazed, black background and decoration of fruits, plants, butterflies and traditional multicolored geometric motifs. High form, slightly flared, rounded top, small round lid, flat with tassel. No stamp. Max. height 30cm with lid, approx. 27cm without, max. diameter approx. 20cm. Excellent condition, no accidents, a few discreet scratches from use. A few cracks/cracks and a small chip on the reverse of the lid, almost invisible when closed. Approx. 3.500kg.
