Joannes Petrus Anthonius Maria (Joan) Bakker (Blokker, February 18, 1919 – August 28, 1999) was a Dutch sculptor. Joan (or Jan) Bakker was born in Oosterblok and attended the Academy of Visual Arts and Technical Sciences in Rotterdam. He was, among others, a student of Herman Mees (1880-1964).
Bakker worked in Rotterdam with his wife, the sculptor and ceramist Maria Elias.
