Jan Bazuin was born in 1930 and died 2003. He lived in the province of Drenthe. He painted not only nudes (mostly women he knew) but also still lifes. I bought this painting myself from the artist. His studio was at home. The table, cloth, fruit and other attributes were present in his studio and often appear in his paintings, as in this work and also in the still lifes. The painting is signed and name of model on back. Date 1990. An impressionist work with a romantic frame in excellent condition. Including the frame the painting is 77 high and 57 wide.
Documentation available with details about the artist. Due to the dimensions the painting cannot be sent by regular mail but can be sent by UPS. Either I can come and bring it or we can meet halfway. The van of whoppa or picking it up at my place in Amsterdam are also possibilities. Note:the indicated shipping costs are according to the website of ups in the Netherlands.
