Beautiful imposing vase or covered pot, jar, in hand-painted and glazed artisanal ceramics, vintage 60s-70s, Portuguese Alcobaça manufacture, signed RB and JP. Pale-blue glazed interior and exterior base. Large, pan-shaped body with 2 thin, angular handles, narrow neck with domed lid, rounded pyramidal handle. Entirely hand-painted with stylized foliage and large flowers, peonies, in apple green, dark and light pink, orange yellow, black and navy blue. Lid also painted, with more geometric motifs. Total height 42cm with lid, 30cm without, max. diameter approx. 24cm. Original and very decorative. Very good overall condition, but with a few small chips, notably 1 on the base and 4 on the lower rim of the lid, 2 smaller, 2 slightly larger, unobtrusive chips. A few discreet surface scratches, rare. Approx. 5kg.
