Superb antique sideboard found in a beautiful Touraine home. In addition to its 2 doors and 2 drawers, it has a secret hiding place: by removing the right-hand drawer, you can slide out the rosette-shaped decoration and access a secret 13x13cm trapdoor running the full depth of the cabinet! We've cleaned and disinfected it, stripped it, treated it against insects, painted it black and protected it with a water-based varnish. The lock works, but can be temperamental from time to time: the charm of vintage. The drawer keys serve as handles. Height 113cm, width 119cm, depth 58cm.
