Industrial bar stool by Friso Kramer and Wim Rietveld for Ahrend De Cirkel in the 1960s. This originally architect's chair has a metal base and a wooden seat and back (made of birch plywood). The seat is adjustable in height by means of a rotary knob and the backrest is also adjustable. This was originally designed as a drafting table chair, hence it is a bit higher than normal chairs and also have an adjustable footrest (gray ring), which is why they are often used as a bar stool these days. Both knobs are steel (so not the later plastic version!) and it has the original max height of 77 cm. The chair is marked "Ahrend the Circle". In good vintage condition; light wear/use marks appropriate to age and use.

Seat height is adjustable from 56.5 to 77 cm and seat width is 39 cm.
