Françoise Deberdt was born in 1934 in Donnemarie-en-Montois (Seine-et-Marne) in France.
She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Paris (atelier Legueult) and later married the architect Jean-Claude Bernard.
She won the "Grand Prize of Rome".
She has exhibited regularly since 1957 and has also worked as a book illustrator since 1959. She lives and works in Paris.
In her works you will find the freshness of innocence, the poetic vision, the lost paradise of a child.
